Anniversaries are the perfect time to show how much you appreciate and care for your significant other. If you have an anniversary coming up soon, but you don't have anything planned yet, don't worry! We have a few romantic anniversary ideas for you to consider:
1. Give a gift from the heart.
Consider giving your partner a thoughtful and heartfelt gift; for example: a scrapbook of pictures from the duration of your relationship, a personal video detailing all the reasons why you love him, or even his favorite homemade baked good. The trick is to think carefully about the love of your life and tailor this sentimental gift toward him.
2. Take a historical tour of your relationship.
Take your spouse on a historical tour of your relationship. Think about four or five (or more!) different spots and locations that have played a major role in your relationship. Where was your first date? Where was your first kiss? Where was the first place you each said "I love you"? Where were you married?
The thought that will be put into this gesture will really make your spouse swoon by showing how much you care. Maybe one of these locations will present the perfect opportunity to present her with one of our sparkling anniversary bands.
3. Plan a date-of-the-month.
This is the gift that keeps on giving! Brainstorm 12 different dates for you and your spouse-- some can be general, but also think of some activities your spouse has always wanted to do or some sights he has always wanted to see. Get 12 envelopes and 12 pieces of paper.
On the sheets of paper, tell your partner where to be, what time to be there, and how to dress. Stick them in the envelopes, and label the envelopes by month. On each "monthiversary," he will open the envelope and follow the instructions. Make sure you make plans in advance and keep a record of what's in the envelopes so that you don't forget!
Happy anniversary! For more romantic anniversary ideas, check out our previous post.
