How They Met

Their story starts in 2017. Two individuals attending church met, and decided to get to know each other. After speaking for a few months, they seemed to be growing distant. No harsh words, no disdain for one another, just the simple nature of life finding its way in between. However, life has a funny way of bringing you back to the people who will have a significant impact on you.

In early 2018, Jazmin and Arturo reconnected, falling in love as quickly and deeply as they has met.

How They Asked

Holding onto her father's arm, Jazmin was guided into the backyard, following a path of rose petals and candles to form the shape of a heart at the end of the aisle.

Standing in the center of the heart, surrounded by twinkle lights and pictures of memories they had made together, was Arturo.

I remember being a little girl playing with my barbies and dreaming of a perfect proposal. My dream was to always be engaged in a beautiful backyard with my closest family and friends!

On December 12, 2018, in front of their family and friends, Arturo got down on one knee to ask Jazmin, the love of his life, to marry him in the proposal of her dreams. The emotions of the proposal took hold of everyone, even Arturo who was so focused on Jazmin that he held the little red ring box open with the diamond ring facing him! It didn't matter though. It was as if they were the only two people in the backyard, deciding to spend the rest of their lives together.

All I knew was that the love of my life was proposing to me!
